Government Reiterates Commitment to Justice Amid Ongoing Conflict in Sudan

Khartoum: The government spokesman, Minister of Culture and Information Khalid Al-Aiser, emphasized the government’s firm stance against crimes committed against Sudanese individuals anywhere in Sudan. He urged fighters to adhere to principles of justice and law when dealing with prisoners suspected of collaborating with rebels or committing acts of violence against civilians.

According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Aiser conveyed his message through a Facebook post, highlighting the double standards of those fueling conflict. He accused these individuals of supporting rebellion and mercenaries, leading to the deaths of thousands of Sudanese, while ignoring the crimes committed against defenseless citizens over the past 21 months. Al-Aiser stressed that isolated incidents should not overshadow the disciplined approach of the Sudanese army, which values human principles in warfare and prioritizes fair trials over revenge.
