Animal Resources Ministry Unveils New Digital Platform to Boost Livestock Sector

Khartoum: The Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries has officially launched its new website, marking a significant step towards digital transformation aimed at improving access to information and services for producers, livestock breeders, and investors.

According to Sudan News Agency, the launch event was led by the Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Professor Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri. The event was attended by Undersecretary Dr. Ammar Al-Sheikh Idris, various directorate directors, and representatives from relevant institutions. Al-Mansouri highlighted the website's role as a comprehensive platform for disseminating ministry news, decisions, programs, and technical and advisory information. Additionally, the website will showcase Sudanese livestock investment opportunities and promote animal products both regionally and internationally.

Dr. Bushra Hamad Abdel-Rahman, Director of the Digital Transformation Unit, explained that the website offers a variety of electronic services. These include licensing, access to technical reports, a directory for livestock breeders, and updates on market prices, with content that is regularly updated. The ministry's Undersecretary emphasized the necessity of continuously enhancing the platform to better meet user needs and strengthen its role in marketing livestock products.
