Al-Eisir Calls for Unified Media Efforts in Coverage and Live Broadcasting

Omdurman: Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir called for continued coordination in news coverage of state and community activities and for concerted efforts in the live broadcasting of major events held inside or outside the country. He made the remarks during a meeting held on Saturday at the headquarters of the General Authority for Radio and Television in Omdurman. The meeting brought together Director-General of the General Authority for Radio and Television Ibrahim Al-Bazai, Television Sector Director Al-Walid Mustafa, and Blue Nile Channel Director Ammar Sheila.

According to Sudan News Agency, the minister commended the efforts made by staff of the radio and television services and Blue Nile Channel during the past period through the integrated partnership among the three institutions and the Red Sea State Radio and Television Authority, as well as the continued broadcasting of the signal from Port Sudan under a joint programming schedule.

The minister also received reports on the progress of work at the radio and television services and Blue Nile Channel following its return to operations from its headquarters in Khartoum State, as well as efforts to restore the working environment and rebuild the facilities.
