TSC Vice-President Briefed on Preparations for Sudanese Certificate Exams in December.

Portsudan: Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar, was briefed on the Ministry of Education’s plan and its preparations to resume the Sudanese Certificate exams scheduled to be held on the twenty-eighth of next December, which were postponed due to the war.

According to Sudan News Agency, His Excellency was acquainted during his meeting in his office in Portsudan on Sunday with the Acting Federal Ministry of Education, with the progress of work and the proposed plan of the ministry for holding the exams. He pledged to overcome all technical obstructions to resume the Sudanese Certificate exams on the set date in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and the Supreme Security Committee for Examinations.

The meeting discussed the projects submitted by donors from sisterly and friendly countries for reconstruction in the field of education, especially with regard to the educational environment, digital transformation, and e-learning, in addition to
seating and teacher training projects.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Omar explained, in a press statement, that the ministry has completed all its preparations to resume the Sudanese Certificate exams on the twenty-eighth of next December. He stressed that his ministry is proceeding with implementing the proposed future activities and programs despite the current circumstances, revealing that TSC Vice-President pledged to support all the ministry’s projects and plan, stressing the help the ministry overcoming the challenges facing it to play its role in supporting the educational process.

Dr. Khalifa reassured the students who will not be able to sit for the Sudanese Certificate exams next December, that the ministry is planning to hold exams in March 2025.
