TSC President Praises Teachers’ Major Role in Maintaining Educational Stability Despite National Challenges

Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, praised the great efforts of male and female teachers in maintaining the stability of the educational process despite the challenges the country is facing. He also commended the significant roles of the Armed Forces and other regular forces in securing the exams and facilitating students’ access to examination centers.

According to Sudan News Agency, this acknowledgment came during his meeting at his office on Monday afternoon with Minister of Education and National Values, Dr. Al-Tohami Al-Zain Hajar. In a press statement, the minister explained that he briefed the TSC President on the number of students sitting for examinations, the number of examination centers, and the success rates of students in the academic, technical, and religious tracks. He noted that the results included a statistical study of the number of centers and students from 2019 to 2024. A statistical study was also conducted on the success rate in each subject for the academic, technical, and religious education tracks.

The Minister of Education and National Values expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the teachers who were behind this achievement. He also saluted the Armed Forces, the General Intelligence Service, and the Police Forces, saying that without their sacrifices, this national task would not have been accomplished. He congratulated the students on the success they achieved in the results of the Sudanese Certificate Examinations for the year 2024.

It is to be recalled that the TSC President has approved the results of the postponed batch of Sudanese Certificate Examinations for the year 2024.
