Khartoum: The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, conducted an inspection of several hospitals in Khartoum State, including Al-Shaab Teaching Hospital, the Dental Hospital, and the Omdurman Maternity Hospital.According to Sudan News Agency, during his visit, President Al-Burhan received detailed briefings on the current conditions of these hospitals, the progress of ongoing work, and the immediate needs for rehabilitation, maintenance, and acquisition of medical equipment and supplies. The briefings also highlighted the challenges that are impeding the restoration of full services at these facilities.In response to these briefings, President Al-Burhan directed that Al-Shaab Teaching Hospital be reopened with immediate effect, ensuring the restoration of medical and healthcare services to the community. He emphasized the urgent need for support to expedite the rehabilitation efforts of the hospitals he visited.P resident Al-Burhan also instructed that the rehabilitation processes and the completion of any outstanding requirements be closely supervised. He called for effective coordination between the Federal Ministry of Health and the Khartoum State Ministry of Health to enhance the readiness of the hospitals and improve the healthcare services available to citizens.
