TSC Member Praises Eastern Sudan’s Native Leadership for Promoting Reconciliation

Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nawara Abu Mohamed Mohamed Tahir, has praised the pioneering role played by native leaderships in promoting reconciliation and raising public awareness of the importance of rejecting hate speech during her meeting on Tuesday in her office with the Deputy Nazir of Bani Amir, Mohamed Ali. She also highlighted the need to maximize the cultural and social diversity of the region, considering it a key factor in the desired renaissance.

According to Sudan News Agency, the Deputy Nazir of the Bani Amir welcomed the selection of Dr. Nawara to lead the country at this critical juncture, affirming their support for the efforts of the armed forces and the government in defeating the rebel militia and restoring security and stability throughout the country. The deputy Nazir of Bani Amir also reiterated their commitment to social reconciliation and peaceful coexistence with all communities.
