Khartoum:Marches took place across Sudan as participants underscored their dedication to national sovereignty and the independence of Sudanese decision-making, while rejecting external pressures that could compromise the country's autonomy.
According to Sudan News Agency, the demonstrators expressed support for Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, emphasizing that Sudan's future and its decisions should be determined solely by Sudanese citizens, free from foreign interference.
In Khartoum and surrounding areas, large crowds gathered after Friday prayers, uniting under the chant 'One army, one people.' Participants carried Sudanese flags and voiced slogans promoting national unity and territorial integrity, highlighting the sacrifices made during the war of dignity as motivation to maintain sovereignty and national pride.
The demonstrations included various societal sectors and institutions, such as the Global Space Center for Culture and Media, to reinforce the importance of preserving national sovereignty and independence in decision-making. The collective message was clear 'No to compromising on Sudan, no to pressure on national decision-making, no to interference in Sudanese affairs, yes to the sovereignty of Sudan.'
Participants aimed to send a strong message to the international community, affirming the Sudanese people's commitment to their nation's sovereignty and dignity, and their right to express their views on the global stage.
