Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has released its latest deposit rates for various currencies, effective as of Tuesday. The new rates cover a range of deposit terms including one month (1M), two months (2Ms), three months (3Ms), six months (6Ms), and twelve months (12Ms) for currencies such as USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD start at 3.64039% for a one-month term, increasing to 4.00616% for a twelve-month term. The Japanese Yen (JPY) rates begin at 0.76000% for one month and rise to 1.50000% for twelve months. For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the rates range from -0.17000% for one month to 0.20000% for a twelve-month term. The British Pound (GBP) starts at a rate of 3.65000% for one month, reaching up to 4.47000% for twelve months.
Additionally, the deposit rates for the Qatari Riyal (QAR) start at 4.04670% for one month and go up to 4.12650% for twelve months. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) rates are set at 4.50000% for both one and six-month terms, with a slight increase to 4.60000% for a twelve-month term. The UAE Dirham (AED) has rates beginning at 2.05000% for one month, increasing to 3.15000% for twelve months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates are consistent at 4.60000% for one and two-month terms, with a rise to 4.85000% for twelve months.
