Prime Minister and German Minister of State Discuss Enhancing Sudan-Germany Relations

Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris held discussions at his office with Ms. Serap Glerwho, Minister of State at the German Federal Foreign Office, who is on an official three-day visit to Sudan. The dialogue focused on cooperation and bilateral relations between Sudan and Germany.

According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting addressed political and security developments in Sudan and the government’s initiatives to reinforce stability. Discussions also included humanitarian assistance and support for reconstruction and development efforts.

Dr. Kamil Idris expressed gratitude for Germany’s supportive positions, highlighting the importance of enhancing joint cooperation to benefit both nations.

Ms. Serap Glerwho acknowledged the Sudanese government’s efforts in addressing current challenges and conveyed Berlin’s interest in broadening political, economic, and humanitarian collaboration with Khartoum.

The meeting, noted for its openness and candor, concluded with both parties agreeing to advance the imple
mentation of several understandings and joint projects aimed at strengthening ties between Sudan and Germany.
