Khartoum: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Professor Ahmed Modawi Musa announced that universities are progressively regaining academic stability as they return to their original campuses. This shift marks the regularization of the educational process, a significant step for higher education institutions.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Minister's recent inspection visit to the International University of Sudan highlighted this progress. He observed examinations being held at the main campus in Al-Azhari, Khartoum, where students were actively participating in their assessments on-site.
The Minister commended the return of students to the university's main campus and the closure of temporary internal centers. He acknowledged the efforts made to regularize the status of students who had been attending external centers.
Professor Musa noted that the current situation reflects substantial progress in reinstating universities to their original campuses. He expressed satisfaction at witnessing a large turnout of students taking examinations in a stable and well-organized academic environment.
