Foreign Ministry Refutes Allegations of Covert Iranian Delegation in Sudan

Khartoum: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has categorically denied reports published by the so-called 'Assayha' website alleging that an Iranian delegation had secretly visited Sudan or held meetings with Sudanese officials. According to Sudan News Agency, the ministry issued a statement on Thursday, affirming that these claims are entirely unfounded and have no basis in fact. It emphasized that such rumors are propagated by known entities, which have consistently sought to target Sudan, its people, and its institutions through the dissemination of misleading information aimed at distorting the country's positions and undermining its regional and international relations. The ministry underscored that Sudan's diplomatic engagements are conducted with full transparency and in a manner that serves its national interests. It called on media outlets to exercise accuracy and refrain from circulating unverified reports.
