New York:The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mohi El-Din Salem Ahmed, met with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Foreign Minister discussed the developments in Sudan, highlighting the restoration of security and stability across most of the country. He urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to back Sudan's stance in regional and international platforms.
The Secretary-General of the OIC reiterated the organization's commitment to supporting peace and stability in Sudan, expressing optimism for the country's future security and peace.
