Khartoum: The parties to the Juba Peace Agreement for Sudan – Darfur Track have reiterated their unwavering support for the Armed Forces, the Joint Force, and supporting formations in their mission to liberate every inch of the country.
According to Sudan News Agency, the parties convened a meeting on Monday evening, which included heads of organizations and senior negotiators, to address current political issues. The meeting concluded with several recommendations, culminating in a joint press statement.
The discussions focused on strategies to implement the Juba Peace Agreement for Sudan and emphasized the importance of fulfilling the obligations stipulated in the agreement. Participants underscored the urgency of activating the implementation mechanisms, consultation mechanisms, and executive structures outlined in the agreement.
The meeting saw participation from key groups, including the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement, the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, the Sudan Liberation Forces Gathering, the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council, and the Sudanese Alliance, all of whom expressed their commitment to advancing the peace process.
