Al-Dabba Executive Director Welcomes Sudanese Dialogue Delegation

Khartoum: Executive Director of Al-Dabba Locality Mohamed Saber Mohamed Ahmed received a delegation from the Preparatory Committee for the Sudanese-Sudanese Dialogue, headed by Prof. Oshiek Abu Aisha, with the locality's Security Committee and a representative of the Popular Resistance in attendance.

According to Sudan News Agency, the delegation visited a displacement camp in Al-Affadh to assess the conditions of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and the services provided to them. Prof. Oshiek Abu Aisha expressed satisfaction with the visit, highlighting that the committee's initiative, launched by Sudanese nationals, has been approved by the government.

Prof. Abu Aisha explained that the initiative aims to unite Sudanese people for dialogue, involving all segments of society to discuss the country's future governance. He clarified that the committee's role is to prepare the ground for dialogue rather than manage it, urging all Sudanese to come together for the national interest, heal the country's wounds, and work towards an inclusive national dialogue prioritizing Sudan's interests.
