Cairo: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in Cairo for an official visit. He was welcomed at Al-Ittihadiya Palace by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, where the two leaders engaged in a session of bilateral talks.
According to Sudan News Agency, the discussions focused on reviewing the bilateral relations between Sudan and Egypt and exploring ways to strengthen joint cooperation in various fields. The dialogue also covered the latest developments in Sudan and other issues of mutual interest.
The talks highlighted the depth and resilience of the longstanding relations between the two nations. Both leaders emphasized the importance of consolidating and enhancing these ties to serve the joint interests of the two countries and their peoples.
Accompanying the TSC President on this visit were the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salim, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
